About Barnum:
Barnum is co-owned with a local family who do an incredible job keeping him in show condition for us. He started showing at just over 6 months old and within a month of his first show, he received his first 4 points, including a major win! He came with us to the 2012 BTCA National Specialty in Louisville, KY and came away with several very nice class placements in both the regular classes and sweepstakes. His litter is a linebreeding back on Vegas and you can really see his influence in this young dog. He has a tremendous head with incredible length and fill, a very small dark eye and he has a proper ear set with the gorgeous wide ears that come down from the Swedish side of his pedigree. He has a very dense coat that carries both proper texture and color! He is a nice mover with a very clean rear going away and proper angualtion both front and rear. While we expect him to be very slow to mature, we are excited about this young dog's future! He won his 5th point in April 2011 and then picked up his second, third, fourth and fifth majors in quick succession, finishing his AKC Championship by going Winners Dog/Best of Winners for another major on May 27, 2012, at just 11mos and 1 week old! He will be out occasionally through the summer to work on his Grand Championship before being put away for a little while to mature.
