About The Litter:
Chloe had her last litter in the spring of 2013. Chloe is the dam to two National Specialty Winners Dogs, multiple dogs with several group wins & placements, two top-ranked bedlington specials, two dogs who have been awarded the 1st Award of Merit at the National Specialty, a multiple national specialty weekend breed winner, multiple champions, several puppies who have finished with 5 majors each, several puppy-group winners along with many other accolades in the show ring. She is our most successful dam, having proven each litter the high quality puppies she throws. Chloe herself went Winners Bitch during our National Specialty weekend in 2006 and was Reserve Winners Bitch at Morris & Essex in 2005 (National Specialty weekend). Her half sister was Winners Bitch at the 2011 BTCA National Specialty and her Sire was Best of Breed at the 2011 National Specialty. Her grand-son was Winners Dog and Best in Sweepstakes at the 2012 BTCA Floating National Specialty and her neice (out of a full sister) went Best of Opposite in Sweepstakes on the same day.
This will be Chloe's last litter. She has been bred to a wide varitey of studs and this is the first opportunity we've had to linebreed back on a male that comes down from her. We are very excited about this combination as we feel the two dogs compliment eachother well and we expect strong consistency in type.
Chloe will be bred to Barnum, Ch LAMZ Greatest Show on Earth, on her next season. This will be Barnum's first litter. His show career has been short so far, but he finished his Championship easily with 5 major wins at just 11 months of age. Along the way, he won a Bred-By Exhibitor group and was nearly undefeated in the classes. He quickly picked up his first points toward his Grand Championship as a move-up special. He has been held out of the show ring as he matures, and we hope to bring him out to campaign once he is older. Barnum is linebred back on his sire, Multi Group Winning MBISS GCh LAMZ Viva Las Vegas RN SE, whose tremendous show record could hardly be summed up in a brief paragraph here. Vegas is a BTCA National Specialty Winner, Regional Specialty winner, the #1 Bedlington Terrier in 2007 and has been awarded a tremendous number of Best of Breeds, Group Placements and Group wins throughout the country. He is a proven producer of National Specialty Winners Dogs/Bitches, Group Winners/Placers and top-ranked bedlington terriers. He is behind most of the LAMZ line and has stamped his progeny with fabulous heads, coats, movement and temperament. Barnum's dam, Multi Group Winning GCh LAMZ Eleanor Rigby CGC, has also had an illustrious show career with Group Wins & Placements, a Westminster Award of Merit, Eukanuba Award of Merit and Best Bred-By in Breed, multiple National Specialty Awards of Merit and finished 2012 as the #2 Bedlington Terrier in the United States.
This combination will linebreed tightly back on our foundation dogs, Vegas and Gypsy. We hope to combine Barnum's incredible head, dense coat, clean rear and nice slab-sides with Chloe's moderate size, correct front and open sidegait. Both Barnum and Chloe have the sweetest temperaments and have never met a stranger, dog or person, that they didn't immediately fall in love with. We are expecting only blue puppies in this litter.
UPDATE: Chloe gave birth to two puppies, one male and one female on March 25, 2013. Both puppies are blue in color and both will be shown in the future.
This litter was our "The End" litter, celebrating Chloe's last litter.
