About The Litter:
Molli (Ch LAMZ Hokie Pokey) will be coming back from Arizona in March to have her second litter. Molli, herself, had a very brief show career, as her family in Arizona wanted her back as soon as possible. She finished her AKC Championship in one weekend, with 5 major wins, winning Best of Breed once over the #1 Bedlington Terrier in the United States at the time! She is a daughter to our foundation bitch, Gypsy (Ch Chelsea's Blue Gypsy Dancer RA SE CGC), and foundation dog, Vegas (MBISS GCh LAMZ Viva Las Vegas RN SE). Her sire had an illustrious show career with many group wins and placements, culminating in his Best in Specialty Show at the 2011 BTCA National Specialty. Her full sister, Chloe, was Winners Bitch at Hatboro (National Specialty Weekend). Her full brother, Roadie, is a Multiple Group Winning and Placing special who has been ranked for several years. Her 3/4 sister, Ginny, was Winners Bitch at the 2011 National Specialty. Molli has many more outstanding relatives in both the conformation ring and performance venues!
Molli had her first litter in January 2012, sired by Piper (GCh Spellbind Fantastic Symphony), of which, two puppies have been shown with great success. DeeDee (Ch LAMZ Pirate's Delight CA) finished her championship in style, going Winners Bitch at the 2013 BTCA National Specialty for a 5-point major! She has also taken to the lure coursing field, earning her Coursing Ability (CA) title in just one weekend! Torrent (LAMZ Pirate Bay) went Winners Dog/Best of Winners during the 2012 BTCA Floating National Specialty weekend. Both of these puppies are moderate sized, with gorgeous heads, proper coats, big, open sidegaits and clean down & backs.
The sire of this litter, Shilling (BISS GCh LAMZ Heads I Win Tails You Lose CA), has had a tremendous career in the show ring at a very young age. Before his 2nd birthday, he had won and placed in many terrier groups, had multiple National Specialty Weekend Best of Breed awards, a regional Best in Specialty Show and was the #1 Bedlington Terrier Dog (All-Systems) in the United States in 2011. He is back out for 2013 and is already a top-ranked special in fairly limited showing. He has also started performance events this year and earned his Coursing Ability (CA) title in just one long weekend of CAT (lure coursing) trials. He is over halfway to his Coursing Ability Advanced (CAA) title now as well!
He had one litter in early 2011, out of Ellie (Ch LAMZ Elizabethan Elegance). From that litter, Pippa (Ch LAMZ Upstaged the Bride) went on to Best in Sweepstakes at the 2012 BTCA National Specialty and placed in the terrier group her first weekend out as a special in the company of some of the top-ranked terriers in the nation! Harry (Ch LAMZ Most Eligible Bachelor) was Winners Dog the day following the BTCA National Specialty for a 5-pt major award. Another littermate, Kate (Ch LAMZ Happily Ever After CA), finished her championship at under 18mos of age and has gone on to do incredibly well on the lure coursing field as well as having nearly completed her Grand Championship! This litter produced incredible heads, coats, movers and temperaments.
We hope that this combination will give us proper coats with color, pretty heads, correct movement and the wonderful temperaments of their lines. Molli gave birth to six puppies on May 4, 2013! She had 4 boys, 2 girls, all blue in color. Four puppies from this litter will be shown in the future!
This litter is our Kentucky Derby litter, as they were born on the day of the Kentucky Derby horse race.
