About The Litter:
Pippa (Group Placing Ch LAMZ Upstaged the Bride CA) was bred to Vegas (Multi Group Winning MBISS GCh LAMZ Viva Las Vegas RN SE CA RATI) for her first litter. Pippa gave birth to 5 males and 2 females on 2-2-14. All of the puppies were Blue in color. One male and one female will be shown in the United States, and another male was exported to South Korea to be shown in their country and in other countries in Asia!
Pippa finished her AKC Championship with three major wins. Along the way, she went Best in Sweepstakes at the 2012 BTCA National Specialty under respected handler and bedlington fancier Joe Waterman. Pippa's first weekend as a special resulted in a Group 4 in an incredibly strong terrier group. She is halfway to her Grand Championship. Pippa holds a Coursing Ability title in lure coursing trials, receiving 4 qualifying runs in her first 4 trials! She is a daughter to Shilling (Multi Group Winning BISS GCh LAMZ Heads I Win Tails You Lose CAA) who had a tremendous show career, including going Winners Dog/Best of Winners at the 2010 BTCA National Specialty, Best of Breed at the Bedlington Terrier Club of the West Specialty, winner of 10 Terrier Group 1's and countless other impressive awards.
Pippa is a refined and elegant girl with gorgeous proportion and size. She has beautiful movement with a floaty, springy sidegait and a very clean down and back. Her front assembly is beautiful. She has a proper coat with a lot of texture and always carries plenty of color.
The sire of this litter, Vegas, had a lengthy show record with 7 Group 1's and many many more Group Placements. Vegas went Best of Breed at the 2011 BTCA National Specialty. He also has as a Regional Specialty Best of Breed. He has countless wins at specialties and specialty-weekend events, hundreds of Best of Breed awards and was a top-ranked Bedlington for 6 years, from 2005-2011 (not shown in 2010), including being the #1 Bedlington Terrier in the United States in 2007. He has a tremendous record as a sire, being behind many of today's top winning bedlington terriers. He has produced breed, group and specialty winners, and stamps his progeny with his incredible conformation and temperament.
Vegas also has a great record in performance event competition. He holds titles in Rally-O, Earthdog, Coursing Ability Tests and Barn Hunt and has also competed and trained in Agility. He holds his Canine Good Citizen title as well. He is a great worker, being smart and biddable. He has also produced competitors in agility, coursing ability testing, Rally-O and barn hunt.
We are hoping that this cross will give us bedlington terriers with impeccable temperaments, as well as the beautiful looks of their parents. We are hoping to produce strong heads, impeccable movement and maintain the proper front assemblies and proportion of both parents.
