We are happy to offer the following services to you:

»Grooming:
We offer limited grooming for both pets and show dogs. Gaby does most of our grooming and is usually available for grooming clients during the summer (May-August) as well as during breaks when she is home from college. We are able to groom most breeds of dogs, but specialize in hand-scissored breeds, terriers and spaniels.

Grooming prices (range is dependant upon size of dog and amount of coat):
Short Coated dogs - $40-60
Labradors, Beagles, Boxers, etc
               Includes bath, brushout to remove dead coat, nails, ears and minor trimming if necessary.
Coated dogs - $60-120
Most Spaniels, Golden Retrievers, Terriers that aren't being scissored/stripped
               Includes bath, brushout, nails, ears and breed-specific trimming
Hand-Scissored dogs - $75-150
Bedlingtons, Kerry Blues, Poodles, Bichons, Porties, etc
               Includes bath, brushout, nails, ears and breed-specific scissoring
Hand-Stripping - $75-150
Hard-Coated Terriers, Schanuzers, etc
               Includes bath(only if requested on hard-coated breeds), brushout, nails, ears and hand-stripping of the coat

Prices are subject to change. Matted, excessively dirty dogs or those with external parasites will incur additional charges. Other serivces may be available upon request.

»Training
We are happy to work with dogs and their owners who need a little practice before setting foot in the show ring. Laurie currently teaches a 6-week group all-breed handling class with the Dulles Gateway Obedience Training Club (UKC) in Loudon County, VA. We can also schedule private lessons with you and your dog if you need a more one-on-one learning experience. We have had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments and can help you bring out the best in your dog!
We are also able to just work with your dog and get it ready for the show ring if you would rather not be in the spotlight yourself, whether it be a new puppy who needs to learn the ins-and-outs of gaiting nicely on a show lead, or a mature dog that needs some fine tuning.
