Ch LAMZ Lucky Clover
About Chloe:
Chloe was one of the puppies that we kept from our first litter (Vegas X Gypsy) born on St. Patrick's Day, 2005. She started showing in the Fall of 2005 to get some experience in the ring as a puppy. In one of her first shows, the Morris & Essex kennel club dog show, with an entry of 40 bedlingtons, she received the Reserve Winners Bitch award at just 7months old! Unfortunately, Chloe's conformation career never reached its full potential. In January 2006, a flesh-eating bacteria abcess formed in her abdomen and while emergency surgery was able to save her life, it altered the development of her rear and the steriods she was put on stunted her growth. As a result, she didn't come back to the show ring until fall of 2006. Thankfully, we found some good judges that were willing to look at all of the rest of her beautiful attributes and she promptly went on to take WB at the Hatboro KC, in October 2006, for a 3-point major! She finished in June of 2007, taking Best of Winners for her final point.
Chloe is happily retired from the show ring and is our resident mouse hunter. While she couldn't be specialed after her injury, she has become one of the top producing brood bitches at LAMZ. She has, so far, produced two BTCA National Specialty Winners Dogs, two group winning specials, three group placing specials, a Best in Specialty Show winner, two dogs who have been awarded the 1st Award of Merit at the National Specialty, a multiple National Specialty-Weekend Best of Breed Winner, six AKC Champions, two AKC Grand Champions, several puppies who have finished with 5 majors apiece and several top-ranked bedlington terrier specials.
